Our name reflects the mission of a broad-based group of community leaders, health professionals, and concerned community members working together to plan and implement effective strategies to promote wellness in our community.

We have held eight poverty simulations in Polk County. These events helped participants gain an understanding of the challenges that families living in poverty face. To learn more about these sessions, please navigate to the events page by clicking here.
The list of agency volunteers and personnel being trained by Hear2Help continues to grow. We have worked with Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry, DSS, nurses and counselors with Polk County Schools, Meals on Wheels, Steps to Hope, and Polk Transportation. Click here for additional information.
Our general meetings take place every other month on the fourth Thursdsay of the month (except November). Meetings are held in the Community Room of the Polk County Public Library in Columbus and run from noon to one o'clock.
